Username: The username is in the form of First initial, last name with no spaces. Ex. Jane Smith’s username would be jsmith

Login: Click here to login after you have entered your username and password.
Teacher Home Page, K3 System

Teacher home page.
The
Navigation Bar:

The navigation bar is near the top of the screen. It contains links to other areas and function of the system. Each item is explained below. This navigation bar is presented on each screen, after logging in.
Home: This link will return you to the teacher home page, from anywhere within the K3 System.
Change Password: This link takes you to a page that will allow you to change your password. It is advised that you change your password from the default password given to you.
Add Student: This option is reserved for School Admins and System Administrators. It allows you to add a new student to the K3 System
Refresh Screen: This option will “reload” the current screen, showing any new or updated data.
Contact: This will take you to the Contact page, allowing you to email the K3 System Administrator, Dr. Ralph Lewis.
Logout: This will log you out of the K3 System. Please remember to logout using this link to protect student information.
Get Student Roster: This will list all students in your class, show the status of their records, and allow you to update their information.

List Completed Students: This will generate a list of all the students in your class that have been completed. This will list all of the levels that have been entered for the student.


After selecting a student to update, you will receive a screen similar to this one. The student’s basic demographic information is listed at the top, including name, student ID, date of birth, gender, etc. In this area there is a link to “Update Demographic Information”. Use this link if the demographic information needs to be updated.

Below the demographics, is the Results Data. Use this form to select the correct data for the chosen student. “Title 1” is a selection field; click the dot beside either “Yes” or “No”. If the student has been served at any time during the year, select “Yes”, if not choose “No”. For each of the other fields, use the pull down menu to the right to select the correct status.
Once you have selected the correct data, click “Update” and you changes will be saved. If a mistake is made, simply return to this screen and set the correct information. If you decide not to update a student’s record, choose “Cancel”, and you will be returned to the home page.
School Level Admin, K3
System
The School Level Admin’s home page includes extra options to manage data for the entire school. In addition to the Teacher functions, the School Admin will find an extra three (3) sections to their home page. These sections match the Class functions, but allow the Admin to choose a class from their School to modify. To select a class to modify, use the pull down menu to locate the homeroom (Teacher Name), and click “Continue”.


The School Admin can also add a new student to the system. Most student records will be loaded from SIMS data, so this is only to be used for students that were not in SIMS when the information is pulled, like a new transfer student. In this screen the Admin can input the Demographic information for the student.
